- Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving.
- Meal preparation
- Provide Companionship to your client (this may include running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store runs, or just to get some fresh air).
- Play games and engage with your client
- Provide assistance with everyday living tasks
- Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the garbage
- High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
- Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
- Able to lift 10-50/lb
